Still amazed at the story I saw this morning that John Henry, principal owner of the Boston Red Sox, is calling for a salary cap. Is this seriously coming from the man who has jacked his payroll up to be the second highest annual payroll in the MLB?

What this really sounds like is John Henry is sick of losing out on big names to the Yankees. It's not good enough that they finally won a few championships after YEARS of futility, this guy needs to have his ego stroked further by getting a few big names. It's bad enough you couldn't keep Manny happy...don't get your panties in a bunch just because the Yanks swooped in and got Teixeira "last minute" or that when you couldn't pull off the A-Rod deal a few years ago, the Yanks did. Massholes never cease to amaze me in their stupidity. Just shut up and adjusted to being a second-tier team again for the next several decades.
